KIRK C. STANGE: In Missouri child support is determined by the Form 14, which is a chart that was set forth by the Missouri Supreme Court. Determining child support can be very complicated and very intricate because there's a lot of subjective factors when using that Form 14, like what's a party's income, big debate over that. Things like visitation credit, daycare. All those different things that go into the Form 14 which make it very complicated.

It's definitely very important to have an attorney whose determined child support in a lot of different cases, because of all those subjective factors, really only an attorney who has experience doing that's going to be able to navigate that.
