As the “Gray Divorce” points out, older Americans are splitting up in record numbers-one quarter of all divorces now involve people over 50. This is a true story about a couple, Ram Samuel, 66, and Barbara Samuel, 54, who met at a party in 1980, bridging geography, age and race. Married for nearly two decades, their lives took turns in different directions. They lived in Pueblo, Colorado and raised two sons, now 30 and 28, and are friends to this day.
