Cody V. Byrd, Esq.

It is also important to remember that life on the other side will be brighter if you take the steps necessary to protect yourself. Cody Byrd is an Associate Attorney in our firm’s Union, MO office. He can help clients throughout Franklin County, Missouri and the surrounding areas.
Cody earned his Juris Doctorate from NKU Chase College of Law. Prior to law school, he attended University of Cincinnati where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts in History. Cody is currently licensed and is ready to help his clients in the State of Missouri.
Cody spent five months working as a Law Clerk for Stange Law Firm, PC before becoming an Associate Attorney with the firm. This time allowed him to get experience working hands-on in the Union, MO office and work closely with the team on client-related tasks. Before joining the Franklin County family lawyers, he spent time working with Kaplan North America as a Regional Director before being promoted to the Director of Legal Education. In this role he helped with the expansion of law school book accounts, obtained institutional deals, and helped law schools in increasing their class bar exam pass rates. Cody also spent time working as a Law Clerk for a law firm in Kentucky where he work with secured and unsecured lenders, banks, mortgage services, private investors, landlords, and creditors in foreclosure, bankruptcy, loss mitigation, litigation, and REO transactions. While in law school, Cody also spent time as a Legal Intern and a Law Clerk for various law firms, gaining valuable legal experience including discovery, research, and litigation. He looks forward to utilizing experience he has gained to help his clients rebuild their lives.
When he is not busy helping his clients, Cody enjoys going to the gym, weight training, and walking various park trails. He also enjoys collecting and playing different guitars.
