Courtland Triplett, Esq.

Courtland Triplett is a Junior Associate Attorney at Stange Law Firm, PC. He can assist clients throughout Shawnee County, Kansas, and the surrounding areas, from our firm’s Topeka, Kansas family law office.
Courtland attended the George Washington University Law School in Washington, D.C., where he earned his Juris Doctorate in May 2023 and graduated with the Merit Scholarship award. While in law school, Courtland took part in the Augsburg Summer Program which allowed him to travel to Augsburg University in Germany and take law classes. Courtland also received Dean’s Recognition for professional development and the Rusty Leffel Concerned Student Award. Prior to studying law, he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Political Science in May 2020 from the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas. While in undergraduate school, he was a university honors program member, a member of the Mortar Board, a recipient of the Student Excellence in Service Award, and a Harry S. Truman Scholarship nominee.
Before joining the Topeka, Kansas family lawyers at Stange Law Firm, PC, Courtland gained legal experience working as a Law Clerk at a large law firm in Washington, D.C and as a Summer Associate at an intellectual property law firm in Overland Park, KS. In these roles, Courtland’s duties included assisting with DMCA take downs, performing complex legal research, and preparing legal research briefs. Aside from work experience, Courtland also has volunteer experience working for the Douglas County United Way, serving on the UW Board of Directors. During his academic career Courtland had many leadership roles in college such as serving as the Student United Way President, the University Relations Director, and as a Housing Senator. Courtland was also a part of the Minority and Multicultural Student Access where he served on the Status of Minorities Subcommittee and as a part of the Multicultural Student Government.
