Diorlena earned her Juris Doctorate while attending the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law. Before studying law, she obtained her Bachelors of Arts in Mass Communication from Savannah State University in Savannah, GA. While in undergraduate school, Diorlena served as a Spanish Medical Interpreter, acting as a cultural broker to eliminate cultural misunderstandings, and revise policies that ensure legal and ethical compliance with internal and external guidelines. She researched and reported any HIPAA violations and modified processes to ensure all operations maintained compliance with state and federal guidelines.

Before joining the Springfield, MO divorce lawyers at Stange Law Firm, PC, Diorlena most recently worked as an Attorney with the Truman Fellows program at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law. In this role she was tasked with many things including drafting and negotiating contractual terms and conditions as well as drafting and negotiating budgets. Additionally, she previously worked as a provisionally licensed lawyer. In this role, she was responsible for contacting clients about questions and concerns, appeared before judges, provided findings on legal research, drafted briefs, and prepared motions. Diorlena also has experience working as a Compliance and Monitoring Manager for a law firm providing advisory, assurance, and tax services.
