J. Nicholas Haynes, Esq.

Nicholas “Nick” Haynes is a Junior Associate Attorney at Stange Law Firm, PC. Nick obtained his law degree in 2012 from the University of Missouri School of Law. While in law school, Nick served as Lead Articles Editor for the Journal of Dispute Resolution and was also active in the American Bar Association, Student Bar Association, and the Board of Advocates, reaching the finals or semifinals in multiple competitions. Before earning his law degree, Nick earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Business from the same university in 2009. Nick is currently licensed and ready to help clients in the state of Missouri.

Before joining the Franklin County family law attorneys at Stange Law Firm, PC, Nick worked as a high-level legislative staff member for the Missouri General Assembly for nearly eight years. In this role he conducted legal research and provided legal and policy analysis to members on statutory matters, legislative history, and related litigation. He also coordinated legislation heard by multiple committees, drafted and revised 92 bills and countless amendments, and also conducted legislation tracking. Nick has also worked in multiple legal roles for federal and state government offices. Nick is also a veteran of the United States Navy, serving six years as an Electromechanical Engineer/Technician.

When he is not helping clients in and around Franklin County, Nick enjoys spending time with his family, reading a good book, or working with technology. Nick is also an avid fan of trivia.
