Senior Associate Attorney
When handling a difficult family law issue, you need an attorney who can support you every step of the way. Jonathan Rupp is a Senior Associate Attorney at Stange Law Firm, PC. He assists clients in Sedgwick County from the firm’s Wichita, Kansas location.
Jonathan completed his undergraduate degree at Wichita State University, obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas School of Law, where he was a KU Law Thompson scholarship and Robert J. Dole Institute Scholarship recipient. During law school, Jonathan completed several internships. First, he worked in Washington, D.C. for the United States Senate as a Legislative Intern researching various legislative issues, responding to constituent inquiries, and attending committee hearings. He has also worked in Kansas for the Wyandotte Prosecutor’s Office as a Prosecution Intern. While there he conducted a wide range of misdemeanor trials including DUI and domestic battery cases, negotiated plea bargains, and prepared witnesses and law enforcement prior to trials. Jonathan is currently licensed to practice in the state of Kansas.
Prior to joining Stange Law Firm, Jonathan gained a significant amount of experience working as an attorney in Kansas. He maintained his own practice after graduating from law school, where he advised and assisted clients primarily on traffic, misdemeanor, and small business related matters. He negotiated plea arrangements, expungements, and commercial settlements for his clients, while also providing legal research and writing support for other local attorneys. Jonathan has also done work for Kansas Legal Services, a non-profit law firm and community education organization helping low and moderate income people in Kansas. While there, he represented clients on their divorce, child custody, and child support matters. He then joined another Wichita law firm, where he represented clients in domestic actions involving co-ownership of high-income businesses while also serving as the Prosecutor for the City of Eastborough.
In his free time, Jonathan enjoys listening to music, traveling, and making artwork.
