Margaret Farley, Esq.

Margaret Farley is a Senior Associate Attorney for Stange Law Firm, PC in Topeka, Kansas. Margaret attended the University of Kansas School of Law in 1988, obtaining her Juris Doctorate and graduating in the top 15% of her class. She also attended the University of Kansas for her undergraduate studies, earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1974. Margaret is currently licensed in the state of Kansas, the state of Missouri (inactive) and the Federal District Court of Kansas.

Prior to joining the Topeka, Kansas divorce lawyers at Stange Law Firm, PC, Margaret spent the previous 26 years working in private practice focusing mainly on nursing home and assisted living litigation. She also has experience in family law, criminal law, probate, administrative law, guardianship, and elder law advocacy. Margaret has historically enjoyed giving back to her community as well. Over the years, she has spent time as a Board Member and the Executive Director for Kansas Advocates for Better Care, Inc., on the Board of Directors and as a past President for the National Consumer Voice for Quality Long Term Care, as a member of the Lawrence Women’s League, and as a member of the League of Women’s Voters – Kansas and Lawrence-Douglas County.

When Margaret is not busy helping her clients through this difficult time in their lives, she can often be found hiking local trails and staying active with things like swimming. She also enjoys baking and reading a good mystery novel.
