Patricia attended the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Law where she earned her Juris Doctor. While in law school, she was a member of Law Review and the ABA Negotiating Competition Team while also being named to the Dean’s List and receiving the American Jurisprudence Award for Federal Taxation and Debtor/Creditor Law. Before studying law, Patricia earned her Master in Business Administration from Columbia University Graduate School of Business and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Yale University. Before joining the Topeka, Kansas divorce and family law attorneys at Stange Law Firm, Patricia owned her own law practice since 1995, focusing on family law, estate litigation, and consumer bankruptcy. She managed all aspects of case resolution from intake to settlement or trial, and was responsible for marketing, administration, and technology. Patricia also recently served as an Attorney Advisor for the Small Business Administration, providing legal guidance on loan programs to ensure compliance and efficiency. Before this role, she worked as a Loan Specialist for the Small Business Administration, where her responsibilities included managing loan processing and administration to support small business owners. Previously, she also served as a Law Clerk for the 16th Judicial Circuit Court in Jackson County, Missouri.
