She can represent clients throughout Jackson County, MO and the surrounding areas from the firm’s Lee’s Summit, Missouri family law office.

Zainab earned her Master of Law (LLM), focusing in Child and Family Law, from Loyola University in Chicago, Illinois. Before this, she obtained her Juris Doctorate from the University of North Dakota School of Law. Zainab also attended Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada for her undergraduate education, where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies. Zainab is currently licensed and ready to help her clients in the State of Missouri.

Zainab brings three years of legal experience to her role at Stange Law Firm, PC. Prior to joining the Jackson County, MO family lawyers, she most recently spent time working as a Child Protective Specialist with the Kansas Department of Children and Family Services. During her time there, Zainab’s responsibilities included maintaining an open caseload while investigating allegations of abuse and neglect, developing safety plans to strengthen family units, visiting homes to interview family members, which included conducting assessments and inspecting homes, providing referrals to community resources for at-risk families and contracted family preservation and foster care providers, maintaining a strong rapport with law enforcement and courts, and also attending court proceedings. She looks forward to bringing her strong passion for family law to her role at Stange Law Firm. As a dedicated legal professional, Zainab is committed to helping you rebuild your life.

Outside of her legal practice, Zainab enjoys cooking, listening to Afro-beats, attending concerts, and traveling. She is also an avid reader and hopes to read at least 52 books by the end of year.
