Baron attended Washburn University School of Law in Topeka, Kansas where he earned his Juris Doctor in May 2023. While in law school, he served as a member of the Black Law Students Association, as the President of the Native American Law Student Association, and also as part of the 2020 Student Cohort of the Indigenous Economics program at Stanford University, Hoover Institute. He also was a John E. Shamberg Memorial Scholar, a Judge Kit Carson Roque Scholar, and an American Indian Graduate Fund Scholar. Before law school, Baron earned his Bachelor of Arts in Indigenous and American Indian Studies, graduating magna cum laude, from Haskell Indian Nations University in Lawrence, Kansas. His honors in his undergraduate studies included being named to the President’s List for 4 semesters, the Dean’s List for 3 semesters, and serving as Haskell Brave from 2017-2018. Baron also attended the University of New Mexico School of Law where he took part in a Pre-Law Summer Institute for American Indians and Alaska Natives. Baron is currently licensed on a temporary license in the state of Kansas.

Before joining the Wichita, Kansas family law and divorce lawyers at Stange Law Firm, Baron spent time out of law school working as an Extern for the Tribal Attorney with the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation. In this role, he assisted with the revision of tribal commercial codes and environmental codes. He also conducted extensive research on Federal Indian law and land status to help the tribe transfer state land into federal trust status. While in law school, Baron held various roles including as a Summer Judicial Law Intern to the Honorable Gwynne E. Birzer in the United States District Court for the District of Kansas and as a Circulation Assistant for Washburn University School of Law’s library.

In his free time outside of his legal work, Baron enjoys physical fitness and enjoys spending time at gym. He also enjoys creative writing and assisting with charitable and philanthropic efforts.
