Dean attended Saint Louis University School of Law, earning his Juris Doctorate in May 1997. While in law school, he also obtained a certificate in Health Law. Before studying law, he attended Maryville University where he obtained a Master of Business Administration, with an emphasis in Healthcare Administration, in 1991. Dean also completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Missouri – St. Louis, graduating in 1982 while double-majoring in Accounting and Marketing. Dean is licensed and ready to help clients in the state of Missouri.

Before joining the Union, Missouri divorce and family lawyers at Stange Law Firm, PC, Dean most recently, and at other various points throughout his legal career, worked as a solo practitioner, representing small businesses and individual clients in domestic relations, tort, probate, and property law matters. He also gained non-litigation legal experience with matters involving health care professional contract review and advice, estate planning, asset protection, elder law, creation of and advice to small corporations, limited liability companies, not-for-profit organizations, partnerships, as well as drafting of documents in support of those areas include trusts, 501(C)3 applications, contracts, articles of incorporation, corporate by-laws, general and limited partnerships, wills, durable power of attorney, advance health care directives, and HIPPA waiver/consent. Dean has also previously worked as a Conflict Attorney with the Juvenile Office in Phelps County, Pulaski County, Texas County, and Maries County, as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in Phelps County and Pulaski County, as well as Legal Counsel for the State of Missouri’s Division of Child Support Enforcement.
