Deborah earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas School of Law in 2002. Before studying law, she attended the University of Kansas where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Broadcast News. While earning her undergraduate degree, Deborah spent time as a Press Intern for the Office of Senator Nancy Landon Kassebaum of the United States Senate and for the Office of the Governor of the State of Kansas. She is currently licensed and ready to help clients in the State of Kansas, and is also licensed in the 10th Circuit of the U.S. Court of Appeals and the U.S. District Court of Kansas.

Deborah is also Lead Counsel Verified for divorce and family law. Since 1997, Lead Counsel Status Verified has been granted to attorneys who possess the right professional experience and a spotless record.

Deborah brings over 20 years of experience in variety of areas of law, including family law, to the Wichita, Kansas family lawyers at Stange Law Firm, PC. Before joining Stange Law Firm, PC, Deborah spent the previous three years working as a family law attorney, representing clients in matters including divorce, child custody and child support, legal separations, and guardianships. Over this period, Deborah has gained valuable courtroom and caseload management experience that she looks to utilize in helping her clients during this difficult time in their lives. She also previously served as a Legal Intern for the United States Attorneys’ Office for the District of Kansas.

Outside of her law practice, Deborah is an avid sports fan and enjoys cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs and the Kansas Jayhawks. She also loves to write and spend time with her two kids and the family pets.
