Kewen Ding, Esq.

Kewen Ding is a compassionate Junior Associate Attorney for the Stange Law Firm, PC in Bloomington, Illinois, serving clients in McLean County and beyond. He is currently licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois.

Kewen graduated with a Bachelor in Business Management and Accounting from the Sichuan Normal University located in Chengdu, China. He attended and earned his Juris Doctorate from Washington University School of Law. While there he served as Treasurer for the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association and the China Law Association. He also received the Scholar in Law Award while attending law school, a merit-based scholarship.

Prior to joining Stange Law Firm, PC in Bloomington, Kewen worked as a law clerk for the Interdisciplinary Environmental Clinic at Washington University. He developed and explained legal strategies to clients on compliance matters, routinely communicated with clients, and reviewed documents for irregularities on compliance matters. He has also worked as a research assistant at the university conducting research, drafting articles, and presenting findings on free speech issues in social media. While attending Washington University, he interned as a law clerk for the Legal Aid Society of Orange County. He answered inquiries from self-represented litigants and assisted them regarding court proceedings, and also conducted legal research and drafted memorandums on family law and related areas.

When not practicing law, Kewen enjoys reading classic novels as well as books on social science and psychology. He also enjoys rock climbing and watching his favorite movies and sitcoms.
